    3rd Sep 2009Blackpool Trams
A day trip to Blackpool, to do the Fleetwood and Starr Gate circuit, before they close, catching the 05:47 from Euston. Not the best of days to go photographing them, dull, stormy with 50 MPH gust's, still the sun did appear for a little while!! All photo's taken on 03rd Sept unless otherwise stated.

After the Long Marston event, we visited the Glous & Warks railway. With Bob's excellent communication skills and determination, we were given a guided tour of the shed at Toddington (which is off limits at the moment) the day was finally rounded off with a trip to Cheltenham race course and back behind 850 'Lord Nelson'. With thanks to Dave Skelton for doing all the driving.

    15th Jun 2007KWVR Diesel gala 07
2 x 26's to whet your appetite? It certainly did, it peed down all day!! Also took six hours to get home owing to floods and signal failures & 37175 failed (bad times), each train had a real ale bar (good times).

    Rugby/Barnetby
A two day trip joining Ray on his East Mids Rover. Rugby was bloomin cold and a fatality at MKC didn't help, but it picked up in the afternoon. Barnetby was disappointing, with only 4 "Tugs" out & about in my time there.
